CCP410 - PLC-5 and RSLogix 5 Programming - Rockwell Automation - Bellevue, WA
This course introduces students to programming techniques and instructions to configure and program a 1785 PLC-5 system.

Advanced Networking - Portland

This course will prepare students to select, apply and maintain network communications in Logix based Control Systems.  The class will cover selection criteria and technical details for CIP Networks.  Students will use RSLogix 5000 and RSNetworx to configure PLC communication to I/O, other PLCs, Variable Frequency Drives, and SMC Pneumatics devices using Ethernet, ControlNet and DeviceNet.  Students will learn the important skills for use in configuring other manufacturer's components to these networks.  Students will see configuration and troubleshooting tools from A-B, Fluke, and Wireshark, as well as wireless connections using Data-Linc equipment

Advanced Capabilities - Seattle

Our Advanced Capabilities class will introduce you to the many powerful features in a Logix processor.  Students will get hands on practice with three alternate programming languages: Structured Text, Function Block Diagram and Sequential Function Chart Programming.  Experience “Premier Integration” by connecting a Networked PowerFlex Drive to the controller. Learn advanced organizational and programming techniques such as User Defined Data types, Indirect Addressing and Add-on instructions.  Students will practice encompass partner module integration, and signal simulation/calibration using a Fluke 725 process meter.  Also, use the power of FactoryTalk View Faceplates to connect to Logix.

Approved for Continuing Education Credit in Oregon and Washington.
