North Coast Electric Company Acquires Alexanders’ Contractor Lighting

BELLEVUE, WA - North Coast Electric Company announced on January 15, 2004 the acquisition of Alexanders’ Contractor Lighting. Alexanders’ Contractor Lighting is a lighting showroom, designer and builders lighting company located in the Ballard area of Seattle.
“The acquisition of Alexanders’ Contractor Lighting comes at a point in time where we are expanding our markets. Recently, we have launched a Tool Division and have been expanding our Commercial Market Division,” said Pete Lemman, President of North Coast Electric, adding that “with the acquisition of Alexanders’, we are excited to go forward with plans to expand our Seattle location by remodeling to include a lighting showroom and design area.”
Alexander’s Contractor Lighting was founded in 1994 and does business in the Puget Sound and Eastern Washington with revenues of $5 million a year and 24 employees. They supply a variety of lighting products for residential, multi- family and commercial applications and have a lighting showroom in Ballard.
Phil Alexander, founder of Alexanders’ Contractor Lighting, along with the other minority owners will stay with the company and are excited about the growth opportunities the new association brings them. “We will be working with Phil Alexander to expand Alexanders’ much faster than they could have accomplished on their own,” said Lemman.
