This course is designed to familiarize students with the programming, wiring and basic application issues involved using a PowerFlex 70/700 drive. Drives components and features are presented along with application examples. Application examples are also given which include MTE products for spike attenuation and harmonics mitigation. Fluke instruments will be used to evaluate drive output and provide troubleshooting information. Extensive time is devoted to "Hands On" labs using drives, computers and programming devices.
