Gear Quotation Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Solicit contractors and the plans room for upcoming gear projects to bid
• Gear project take offs, quotations, and bid follow-ups
• Project submittals and order entry (as required)
• Work closely with the project team and sales staff to package offering
• Identify and negotiate gross margin growth opportunities
• Handle any other sales support tasks assigned including misc material bids
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications:

• Past experience with electrical (gear) distribution equipment (Siemens and GE preferred)
• Competent in gear take-offs, reading specs, soliciting orders and submittals
• Excellent written, oral and computer skills
• Excellent record keeping and time management skills
• Self motivated problem solver in a team environment

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Frequent computer and telephone use
• Office environment
