North Coast Electric Company

We recently completed an energy efficient lighting upgrade for a really neat company in Poulsbo Washington called Watson Furniture. After visiting their facility and meeting some of their people I was really impressed with their forward thinking corporate culture which included an obvious commitment to sustainable practices.

Much of their lighting system was already reasonably efficient but they wanted to see if they could do even more. Our lighting specialist in their area, Bob Nietfield, got together with one of our lighting contractor partners to see what could be done. They designed and proposed a terrific new lighting system that delivered the light levels Watson needs along with substantial energy savings.

Highlights include:

• 49.4% energy savings
• Almost $15,000 annual electricity savings
• 174,325 annual kWh savings
• 2.2 year payback after PSE rebates
• 82% Return on Investment
