
North Coast Electric has been awarded TED Magazine's "Best of the Best"
Marketing Excellence Merchandising Award for their Tool Division's
Big Blue Tool Machine. TED Magazine holds their Best of the Best awards program annually, honoring marketing excellence and creativity within the electrical industry. This is the fifth consecutive year that NCE has received this coveted marketing award from
TED Magazine.

TED Magazine's "Best of the Best" Marketing Excellence Merchandising Award. We've worked hard to put together a display vehicle that best serves our customer's needs and our suppliers goals" said Tony Papasedero, NCE Tool Division Manager.
NCE's Tool Division launched the Big Blue Tool Machine as a marketing effort in 2008. The "Big Blue" is a full sized demonstrator vehicle, sponsored by several top manufacturers. It boasts a 26' long box with walk-in capability, outfitted with over 300 tools for customers to test out and a mounted flat screen monitor that loops videos of larger tools in action.
The premise of this marketing endeavor is to provide an opportunity for the end-user to see, feel and test tools first hand, with the goal of increasing tool sales. Open houses and counter days are more profitable as customers try their tools of choice and place orders for delivery or will call on the spot. The Big Blue travels the entire
North Coast Electric service area, including Alaska.
