The 2009 TED Magazine Award winner, the Big Blue Tool Machine will be undergoing an overhaul of sorts. No not the engine, chassis or paint, this tool demonstrator vehicle will become a Tool Sale vehicle in 2010.

The Big Blue Tool Machine will be converted into a point-of-purchase sale vehicle next year. Marc Dewey, pilot of Big Blue, states "This will allow end users to purchase tools on the spot and begin to use the tools they need on the job right away."  Big Blue has been a customer favorite, showcasing all the latest and greatest in tools all the way up in Alaska and back down to Southern part of Oregon.  But customers that were in need of tools immediately were out of luck, they had to wait for delivery from their local Service Center. No more! In 2010, Big Blue will be fully stocked with hundreds of hand tools, power tools and more. Customers may purchase tool products right then and there, utilizing either their customer account or their credit card (Visa or MasterCard).
